Launch Week: Survive Your First Seven Nights
The servers are live, the campfires are lit, and a new wave of explorers is trekking into the emerald dusk of 99 Nights in the Forest. Launch week is about smart survival habits, so we assembled the essential tactics to carry you through the first seven in-game nights.
Night 1–2: Secure Shelter and Firelight
Before the first sun sets, collect flint, dry bark, and sapling timber. Building a level-one shelter grants warmth buffs and a respawn anchor. Keep a reserve of tinder to reset fires whenever the midnight fog rolls in. Solo players should craft a warding charm from luminous spores to deter nocturnal stalkers.
Night 3–4: Scout and Establish Routes
The third night brings shifting patrols from the shadowed fauna. Pair up with a scout to map safe corridors between crystal groves and stream outposts. Leave marked cairns for clanmates; their glow persists for twelve hours and alerts allies to resource caches or hazards.
Night 5–7: Upgrade Gear and Sync Roles
By night five, you should have unlocked your first specialization node. Guardians strengthen barricades, Sages accelerate potion brewing, and Arcanists amplify ranged damage. Coordinate roles to maximize nightly events, and use the lodge terminal to broadcast your group code for cross-platform allies.
